So, I'm late to the game on this (no surprise there), but I've decided I want to start contributing to the #RPGaDay2021 challenge. It's been a few years since I last tried this thanks to finishing up school, but I'm wanting to dive back into writing and gaming now that I'm finished. This seems like a good way to dive back in. So here's day one's entry. I'll be posting three a day until I get caught up. Might get more creative with what I submit once I'm caught up, but most of these first contributions will most likely be musings. For Day 1: Scenario, I submit for you a scenario I've used before, but tweaked about here and there to come up with this current version. This scenario could also be applied to all kinds of different settings whether it be fantasy settings like D&D or modern horror like World of Darkness. Enjoy!
Day 1 - Scenario: A local priest learns that their sibling has been infected by vampirism. Desperate to cure them, the priest locks the fledgling vampire in the catacombs of the church/temple. While they search for a cure, to keep their sibling alive, the priest abducts vagrants and those viewed as undesirable in the eyes of the church/temple and feeds them to the sibling. The characters get involved when they hear about the disappearances. The vampire's presence has also begun to attract the attention of other evil creatures which the characters may have to deal with in one form or another.
